Here's why you should think twice before sharing that Kim Kardashian sex tape flag
Imgur Imgur
FOLLOWING KANYE WEST’S performance at last night’s Glastonbury, an image of a certain flag has been doing the rounds on Twitter and Reddit this morning.
The flag in question features a still from Kim Kardashian’s infamous sex tape with singer Ray-J and the quote, “Get Down, Girl, Get Head Get Down,” a play on the lyrics from Gold Digger.
It’s unclear whether the owner of the flag brought it to the Kanye West set or not.
The explicit flag has been shared widely with one tweet receiving over 11,000 retweets and counting. Several other tweets have amassed hundreds of retweets and the image has been viewed 1.1 million times on Imgur.
Many Twitter users have declared the owner of the flag to be a “genius” and a “hero”.
But lots of people have also expressed their disdain for the image and criticised both the festival goer who made the flag and those who subsequently shared the image.
Many have described the flag as “misogynistic” and stated that it essentially punishes or humiliates Kardashian for having had other sexual partners — a type of slut-shaming, if you will.

Others have labelled it “disrespectful” and asked if it would be funny if the same thing happened to you.

The creator of the flag, meanwhile, has come in for widespread condemnation with some calling him “pathetic”.

So far, neither Kim nor Kanye has publicly commented on the image.
Kim Kardashian’s sex tape was leaked in 2007 without her consent. The reality star later dropped a lawsuit against Vivid Entertainment in exchange for a reported $5 million settlement.
Last year, Pornhub revealed that it was the most watched porn video of all-time.
